Well we saw the new psych MD yesterday and I'm not sure what to report. They all seem nice the first meeting. It isn't until a few meetings when the disinterest and arrogance shows up.
We have to get labs tomorrow and see him again next week. I already told him we need more help with a mood stabilizer and a prn like Seroquel for really raging days. I hope he hears me and we start on a right path again.

Hi! Sounds like you are in the middle of it!! I saw you over at WTW when you mentioned your son and high blood sugar interfering with your patience. I can relate to both of those things. My boy is only 7 and we have had him since he was two so his problems don't hit alarm levels at this point. But he seems to have a little RAD along with his Oppositional Defiance and ADHD, and has kept us scratching our heads since we got him.
ReplyDeleteWe love him madly of course but he needs meds as well to contain himself and we are having some of the same trouble finding the right thing to help him all day. Best to you with this new MD! Hopefully he/she will listen to you and respect your well educated opinions. :) I'll check back and see how things go.
